Pop Goes the Weasel

Arcadia is home to two great stops along Route 66. The first is the Round Barn. This is a classic stop on the route, however, we got there after the building closed so it was a lot less cool.
The next was POPS a restaurant built in 2006 with the hopes of bringing more attention to the Route. POPS features a 66 foot tall pop bottle.

POPS is also features walls that are lined with pop selections. We didn't realize until the end that they are also organized by color. It is a great restaurant with a nice store connected to it.

We purchased 6 sodas to try; I chose Route 66 Beer, Lemmy's Lemonade and Norka Ginger Ale; Dad purchased Maple Syrup Soda, Death Valley Root Beer, and Peach Soda. While dining we both enjoyed the Round Barn Root Beer, one of POPS own creations.
