First One to the Top

Only a few blocks from our hotel, we started day 2 at the Saint Louis Arch. Surrounded by construction we walked a winding path headed to the bottom of the arch. The arch was massive it was crazy to stand at the bottom and just look up, but the coolest part was yet to come.

We bought tickets to the top of the arch. What you never see in the pictures is the tram that goes to the top or the museum that sits underneath. We were in the first car for the first group of the day. We got in and what is said to be a four minute journey to the top felt a lot shorter. I was the first one out and since I was in car number one I made it to the Viewing Room first. I WAS THE FIRST VISITOR ON TOP OF THE GATEWAY ARCH ON AUGUST 4TH.
